Roy Hibbert was listed as a DNP-CD for Sunday's game against the Grizzlies.

The Scoop:Hibbert was just acquired from the Bucks at the NBA trade deadline but the 7-foot-2 big has yet to see any play time in two games in the Mile High City. The team recently added Mason Plumlee from Portland, and he has been playing regularly off the bench, so Hibbert likely needs an injury to Plumlee before he sees any meaningful minutes with his new organization. He is not a recommended fantasy option at this point.

The Sixers are bringing in a former All-Star center … but not to play. The team is hiring nine-year NBA veteran Roy Hibbert as a player development associate, a team source confirmed to NBC Sports Philadelphia. Shams Charania of the Athletic and Stadium reported it first.

Despite trailing 2-1 as the top seed in the Western Conference finals in a season his star deemed “the year,” Rockets coach Mike D’Antoni claimed all the pressure was on Warriors in Game 4. *The Pacers gave 40 minutes to Paul George, George Hill, Roy Hibbert and Lance Stephenson in Game 6 of the 2013 Eastern Conference finals. Since, only the Warriors – who used Andre Iguodala, Klay Thompson, Stephen Curry and Draymond Green in Game 7 of the 2016 Western Conference finals against the Thunder – have played just seven players in a playoff game.

For 15 years LeBron James has run roughshod through the Eastern Conference, devastating franchises and leaving a growing body count in his wake. Lost in James’ victimization of Indiana — both the Paul George/Roy Hibbert version, and the current one — and his humbling of Toronto, is this: James has owned the Celtics.

Paul George wanted to leave Indiana, and when you look at it, it’s easy to understand why. The team has scuffled since scaring the bejesus out of Miami in the conference finals in 2013 and ’14. Roy Hibbert cratered, David West left, the coach that developed George (Frank Vogel) was fired and the GM that fired him (Larry Bird) quit a year later.

The Scoop: None.
