Game ETLatest Player News...
Dinwiddie recorded zero points (0-3 FG, 0-2 3Pt), two rebounds and one assist over five minutes during Tuesday's 110-106 Play-In Game victory over the Pelicans.

The Scoop:Dinwiddie barely touched the floor in the win, managing just five minutes of playing time. The Lakers opted to go with Gabe Vincent as the primary backup, a move that could very well stick given his defensive upside. Tuesday's win means the Lakers will now go on to face the Nuggets in the first round of the playoffs.

Moves back to bench
Dinwiddie isn't in the starting five for Tuesday's game versus the Warriors, Ryan Ward of LakersNation.com reports.

The Scoop: LeBron James will replace Dinwiddie in the starting lineup Tuesday after missing the previous game with an illness. Dinwiddie is averaging 4.8 points, 1.6 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 1.0 steals in 22.0 minutes across his last five appearances coming off the bench.

Logs 18 points in starting role
Dinwiddie posted 18 points (4-7 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 7-7 FT), five rebounds and seven assists in 36 minutes during Sunday's 127-117 loss to the Timberwolves.

The Scoop: The Lakers sacrificed a bit of size by implementing Dinwiddie amid LeBron James' (illness) absence, but the combo worked out fairly well thanks to a balanced line from the former Net. Dinwiddie wasn't afraid to mix it up and made the Timberwolves pay with a perfect night from the charity stripe. He also collected seven assists, his highest total since joining the Lakers.
