 Poor shooting night in win

The Scoop:Since being moved back to the bench Feb. 22, Holiday has averaged 3.6 points, 1.6 assists and 1.3 rebounds in 13.4 minutes. While Holiday is averaging fewer minutes than before, the swingman is shooting an efficient 50.0 percent from the field to complement 40.0 percent from deep. Expect the 34-year-old's minutes to remain limited so long as Kentavious Caldwell-Pope stays healthy.

Moving back to bench Thursday
Holiday will not start against the Wizards on Thursday, Vic Lombardi of Altitude Sports reports.

The Scoop: Head coach Michael Malone revealed that all the regular starters will be in the lineup against Washington, so Holiday will head to the bench in favor of Kentavious Caldwell-Pope. Holiday should still see decent minutes off the bench, however.

Gets starting nod
Holiday is in the starting five for Wednesday's game versus the Kings.

The Scoop: Holiday will replace Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (hamstring) in the starting lineup Wednesday. Holiday is averaging 7.0 points, 2.2 assists, 1.6 rebounds and 1.4 steals in 27.2 minutes across his last five starting appearances.

Heads back to bench
Holiday isn't starting Monday's game against the Bucks.

The Scoop: Holiday entered the starting five for Denver's last two contests while Kentavious Caldwell-Pope returned to health, and the 34-year-old will now retreat to the bench with Caldwell-Pope cleared to return. Holiday has seen limited action in his last five games off the bench, averaging 1.8 points in 8.0 minutes.

Rough night in spot start
Holiday produced two points (1-1 FG), one rebound and one assist over 22 minutes before fouling out of Thursday's 114-106 win over the Lakers.

The Scoop: Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (hamstring) got the night off, but Holiday failed to make a positive impact in his first start since Dec. 16. That was also the last time the journeyman guard played 20 or more minutes in a game, and he's had a hard time of late simply keeping a consistent spot in the Nuggets' backcourt rotation. Even if KCP misses additional time, Holiday's fantasy upside is minimal.
