Wes Iwundu: Returns to action Wednesday
Iwundu notched eight points (2-3 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 3-4 FT), two rebounds and one steal over 16 minutes during Wednesday's 131-117 loss to the Bulls.

The Scoop: Iwundu was back in the lineup Wednesday after missing the previous game due to health and safety issues. He came off the bench but managed to log 16 minutes, a number that is unlikely to repeat itself often moving forward. The Hawks should start getting their main guys back on the court over the next few games, putting to an end the Iwundu experience.

Wes Iwundu: Will be available Wednesday
Iwundu (conditioning) will be available for Wednesday's contest against the Bulls, Mike Conti of the Atlanta Hawks Radio Network reports.

The Scoop: Iwundu cleared the league's health and safety protocols Wednesday and will immediately be available for the Hawks. The 6-foot-7 forward has only made one appearance for Atlanta since signing a 10-day contract Dec. 22. During that contest, he notched two points and five rebounds across 23 minutes. He will likely have a similar workload against the Bulls, as the Hawks currently have 11 players sidelined due to the NBA's COVID-19 protocols.

Wes Iwundu: Clears COVID-19 protocols
Iwundu cleared the league's health and safety protocols Wednesday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.

The Scoop: Iwundu signed a 10-day hardship contract with the Hawks on Dec. 22, but he played in just one game before landing in COVID-19 protocols. During that contest, he recorded two points and five rebounds across 23 minutes. It's unclear if he will be available for Wednesday's contest against the Bulls, but if he is, he will likely have a significant role as the Hawks still have 11 other players sidelined due to the NBA's protocols.

Wes Iwundu: Enters COVID protocols
Iwundu entered the NBA's health and safety protocols Friday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.

The Scoop: Iwundu had just signed with Atlanta on a 10-day hardship deal Wednesday and played 23 minutes in his debut against the Sixers on Thursday, scoring two points (1-5 FG) and adding five rebounds. The 26-year-old is now the Hawks' eighth player to be placed in protocols and leaves the team with yet another opening on their roster.
