 Heading to Philadelphia

The Scoop:Gordon spent the 2023-24 campaign in Phoenix and averaged 11.0 points, 2.0 assists and 1.8 rebounds in 27.8 minutes per game over 68 regular-season appearances. He's converted 38.5 percent of his 5.4 three-point attempts per game over the past three seasons and should be a solid perimeter presence for his new team, but the extent of his role will likely depend on whether the 76ers land Paul George in free agency.

Declines player option
Gordon declined his $3.4 million player option for the 2024-25 season Thursday and will become a free agent, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.

The Scoop: Gordon's output has declined over the past few seasons, but he shot 37.8 percent from beyond the arc during the 2023-24 campaign during his first year with the Suns. Over 68 regular-season appearances with Phoenix, he averaged 11.0 points and 2.0 assists in 27.8 minutes per game. He's expected to draw interest from multiple contenders as a free agent, so he could carve out another decent role next year, especially if he maintains his three-point efficiency.

Returns to practice
Gordon (migraine) participated in Tuesday's and Wednesday's practices, Duane Rankin of The Arizona Republic reports.

The Scoop: Gordon missed Phoenix's regular-season finale due to a migraine. However, the veteran guard's return to practice is a good sign of his availability for Saturday's Game 1 against Minnesota.

Out Sunday
Gordon (illness/migraine) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Timberwolves.

The Scoop: Gordon was a late addition to the injury report and will ultimately be sidelined by a migraine. The veteran should have plenty of time to recover before Sunday's Game 1 of the Western Conference Quarterfinals against the Timberwolves.
