Game ETLatest Player News...
The Grizzlies opted not to re-sign Harrison after his 10-day contract expired Sunday, Chris Herrington of The Daily Memphian reports.

The Scoop:Along with guard Jaylen Nowell, Harrison was added to the roster Nov. 24 on a 10-day hardship exception, which the Grizzlies were awarded from the NBA after the team was deemed to have five players out with long-term injuries. Herrington notes that the Grizzlies expect to get Jake LaRavia (eye) back from injury within the next two weeks, so the team elected to part ways with Harrison while keeping Nowell around on a second 10-day deal. Even while the Grizzlies were short on healthy bodies, Harrison struggled to crack coach Taylor Jenkins' rotation, as he logged just six total minutes across three appearances with Memphis.

Handed walking papers
The Grizzlies waived Harrison on Saturday.

The Scoop: Harrison joined Memphis on an Exhibit 10 deal ahead of training camp and fell short in his bid for a spot on the 15-man roster. The Grizzlies will retain his G League rights, so if he clears waivers, Harrison could be headed for the Memphis Hustle.

Let go by Lakers
The Lakers waived Harrison on Thursday, Jovan Buha of The Athletic reports.

The Scoop: Harrison was waived by the Lakers alongside Mo Bamba. Harrison signed with Los Angeles in April of 2023 but didn't make any appearances for the team. The 29-year-old guard will look to join his eighth team in six years this offseason.

Shaquille Harrison: Not listed on injury report
Harrison (recently signed) isn't listed on the Lakers' injury report for Tuesday's Play-In Tournament matchup against the Timberwolves.

The Scoop: Harrison and Tristan Thompson signed one-year contracts with the Lakers on Sunday, but they weren't available for the team's regular-season finale against the Jazz. While it appears like both of the new additions will be available Tuesday, they aren't guaranteed any playing time, especially if LeBron James (foot), Anthony Davis (foot) and D'Angelo Russell (foot) all suit up.

Shaquille Harrison: Double-doubles off bench
Harrison provided 13 points (5-11 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six rebounds, 10 assists, one block and four steals across 26 minutes during Saturday's 136-125 loss to the Clippers.

The Scoop: Harrison didn't shoot the ball well, but he still delivered a solid outing off the bench while notching his first double-double of the campaign. He's benefiting from decent minutes off the bench for a shorthanded Portland team, and he should see around 20 to 25 minutes in the season finale against the Warriors on Sunday. He has cracked that mark in four of his five outings.
