Pelle (illness) is not on the injury report for Sunday's game against the Nuggets, Andy Larsen of The Salt Lake Tribune reports. The Scoop:Pelle could see backup center minutes with Hassan Whiteside (COVID-19 protocols) shelved. In Pelle's three appearances, he's averaged 2.0 points and 2.0 rebounds in 6.3 minutes. Norvel Pelle: Back at practice Friday Pelle (illness) participated in Friday's practice, Sarah Todd of The Deseret News reports. The Scoop: Pelle was sidelined for Wednesday's contest due to a non-COVID illness, but it appears he will be available for Sunday's matchup with the Nuggets. The 28-year-old has made three appearances for the Jazz since signing a 10-day contract and is averaging 2.0 points and 2.0 rebounds in 6.3 minutes during those games. Jan 14 7:42 ET |
Norvel Pelle: Won't play Wednesday Pelle (illness) is unavailable for Wednesday's game against the Cavaliers, Eric Walden of The Salt Lake Tribune reports. The Scoop: Pelle was questionable with an illness and won't be suiting up Wednesday, which leaves Utah without a center since Rudy Gobert, Hassan Whiteside and Udoka Azubuike are all in the COVID-19 protocols. Eric Paschall and Royce O'Neale figure to fill in at center with the Jazz short-handed. Jan 13 12:31 ET |
Norvel Pelle: Dealing with non-COVID illness Pelle (illness) is listed as questionable for Wednesday's game against the Cavaliers due to a non-COVID-19-related illness. The Scoop: Pelle signed a 10-day contract with the Jazz on Jan. 7 and has appeared in all three contests since joining the team, totaling 19 minutes, six points and six rebounds. His potential absence Wednesday likely won't have a major effect on Utah's rotation. Jan 12 5:33 ET |
Norvel Pelle: Removed from Boston's roster The Celtics didn't re-sign Pelle after his 10-day contract expired Tuesday, Keith Smith of Spotrac.com reports. The Scoop: Boston moved on from both Pelle and forward Al-Farouq Aminu on Tuesday, after both players' services were no longer needed now that the Celtics have most of their roster available again following a wave of COVID-19-related absences. During his week-and-a-half-long stint with Boston, Pelle went unused off the bench. Unless another team offers him a 10-day deal in the near future, Pelle will likely return to the G League, where he had been playing with the Cleveland Charge. Jan 5 9:07 ET |
