Game ETLatest Player News...
Hernangomez finished with zero points (0-1 FG) and three rebounds over 11 minutes during Friday's 129-117 loss to Golden State.

The Scoop:Hernangomez missed his only shot attempt Friday, failing to score in what was another disappointing performance. Typically seeing no more than about 15 minutes in any given game, Hernangomez has actually gone scoreless in four of his past seven outings.

Juancho Hernangomez: Back to bench
Hernangomez will play a reserve role in Friday's contest against the Suns, Doug Smith of the Toronto Star reports.

The Scoop: Hernangomez has been in the starting lineup for the Raptors' previous seven games. While he has been starting, his playing time has been trending lower. He played just nine and 11 minutes, respectively, in his last two games as a starter. It's not yet clear what type of role he will see as a reserve now.

Juancho Hernangomez: Starting Friday
Hernangomez will enter the starting five for Friday's tilt with the Nets, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.

The Scoop: Hernangomez will capitalize on the absence of OG Anunoby (hip) and Gary Trent (quadriceps) by earning the starting nod Friday. He is joined by Fred VanVleet, Scottie Barnes, Pascal Siakam and Christian Koloko and should garner streaming interest.

Juancho Hernangomez: Good to go Wednesday
Hernangomez (ankle) is available to play in Wednesday's game versus Sacramento, Eric Smith of Sportsnet 590 The Fan reports.

The Scoop: Hernangomez will make his return Wednesday after missing the previous four games due to a right ankle sprain. Pascal Siakam and Scottie Barnes will likely be afforded some rest with his return to the lineup.

Juancho Hernangomez: In line to return Wedensday
Hernangomez (ankle) practiced Tuesday and appears likely to play Wednesday versus the Kings, Eric Koreen of The Athletic reports.

The Scoop: Given the news that OG Anunoby (hip) will be out at least another week and the returns of Precious Achiuwa (ankle) and Otto Porter (toe) are still a ways off, Hernangomez's return should help provide some additional depth in a rotation that is lacking it at the moment. The Raptors' injury report should provide further clarity on Hernangomez's chances of suiting up Wednesday.
