The Scoop:Aldridge was cleared to play March 27 against the Hornets after missing the Nets' preceding nine games with a right hip impingement, but he registered four straight DNP-CDs following his removal from the injury report. The veteran's return to the rotation was lackluster at best as he was held scoreless across 17 minutes. Before the hip issue, Aldridge had scored in double figures in seven of his last nine appearances, but currently, it appears like Andre Drummond and Nicolas Claxton have a stronghold on the center position. | LaMarcus Aldridge: Expected to return next week Nets coach Steve Nash said Saturday that Aldridge (hip) is lined up to return to game action next week, Brian Lewis of the New York Post reports. The Scoop: Aldridge has missed each of Brooklyn's last eight contests, and he won't play in either game during the team's back-to-back set this weekend.
