Kawhi Leonard said he focused on becoming a leader during the offseason to prepare for life without Tim Duncan. San Antonio Express-News The Scoop:"Just becoming a leader," Leonard said. "Just making sure I know what's going on on the floor in every position. Just being ready to really get my mentality at leading this group this year, that's pretty much it." Leonard was dominant last season and finished as the third best player in standard leagues, averaging 21.2 points, 6.8 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 1.0 blocks, 1.8 steals and 1.8 3-pointers on 50.6 percent shooting from the field.
