Game ETLatest Player News...
Jackson signed a non-guaranteed contract with the Suns on Tuesday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.

The Scoop:Jackson played 53 games and started seven for the Pistons in the 2021-2022 season. He averaged 10.6 points, 1.6 rebounds, 1.0 assists and 0.5 steals in 22.0 minutes. While he struggled with efficiency, shooting 40.2 percent from the field and 30.8 percent from three, he still can score the ball. After Cameron Payne's poor season, Jackson will have the opportunity to compete for the backup spot behind Chris Paul, although he will likely be further down the bench if he makes the regular season roster.

Jackson will come off the bench Wednesday against Dallas, Mavs radio play-by-play man Chuck Cooperstein reports.

The Scoop: With Cade Cunningham (hip) back in action, Jackson will shift to the bench as Detroit rolls with Cunningham and Killian Hayes in the backcourt. Jackson started Sunday's win over Indiana and posted 19 points, three rebounds, four assists and two three-pointers in 36 minutes.

Frank Jackson: Joins starting lineup
Jackson will start Sunday's game against the Pacers, Lauren L. Williams of MLive.com reports.

The Scoop: The 23-year-old will make his first start since late December since Cade Cunningham (hip) and Cory Joseph (back) are sitting out Sunday. Jackson delivered 26 points (7-16 FG, 4-10 3Pt, 8-8 FT), two rebounds and one steal in 33 minutes off the bench Friday against Oklahoma City, and he could see a similar offensive workload at Indiana.

Frank Jackson: Explodes for 26 points off bench
Jackson posted 26 points (7-16 FG, 4-10 3Pt, 8-8 FT), two rebounds and one steal in 33 minutes during Friday's 110-101 victory over Oklahoma City.

The Scoop: With Cory Joseph (back) out and Cade Cunningham (back) playing only eight minutes, Jackson saw an increased opportunity off the bench and tied Killian Hayes with a team-high 26 points. The backup point guard used a season-high eight made free throws to register his fourth outing with at least 25 points this season. While the scoring outburst was nice, Jackson failed to make significant contributions elsewhere and hasn't garnered a significant role since returning from a lengthy absence due to back spasms.
