| Unlikely to return in 2023-24 Head coach Taylor Jenkins said Tuesday that there is a "good chance" Jackson (quadricep) won't play again this season, Damichael Cole of The Memphis Commercial Appeal reports. The Scoop: With Memphis already being eliminated from the playoffs and Jackson having already played in 65 games to qualify for an All-NBA team, it's not surprising that the team is leaning toward shutting him down for the campaign. The 24-year-old will miss a third consecutive game Tuesday with right quad tendinitis, but the injury isn't anything that should affect his training during the offseason. Assuming he doesn't make any appearances in Memphis' final three games, the big man will end the 2023-24 campaign having averaged 22.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 1.8 three-pointers, 1.6 blocks and 1.2 steals in 32.2 minutes across 66 appearances.
