The Scoop: The two sides were able to complete the transaction prior to the deadline Friday, so Milton will be eligible to compete in the playoffs if he signs with a new team. He's expected to draw interest from several contenders, and it became apparent quickly that he was never a major part of Detroit's plans after being acquired from Minnesota at the trade deadline.
