| James was released by the Kings on Sunday, Jason Jones of The Athletic reports. The Scoop:James' salary with the Kings was set to be guaranteed for the season unless if he got cut today. The 24-year-old has played for the Kings the last two seasons and only saw 7.6 minutes per game. In his final season with Sacramento, James averaged 3.9 points, 0.8 rebounds and 0.6 assists in 36 appearances. | Justin James: Out for season finale James has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Jazz with a sprained right ankle. The Scoop: The 24-year-old averaged 23.5 points, 6.5 rebounds and 2.0 assists in 28.5 assists and was primed for heavy minutes in the season finale, but he'll instead by sidelined by an ankle sprain.
