Shawn Marion confirmed via text message to ESPN that he does indeed plan to retire after completing his 16th NBA season. The Matrix was a captivating player to watch during his prime, and he was a key component to the Dallas Mavericks' championship run in 2011. He'll end his career with averages of 15.2 points, 8.7 rebounds, 1.5 steals and 1.1 blocks per game on 48.4 percent shooting from the field and 81.0 percent from the charity stripe.
