The Scoop: After making a tune-up appearance with the G League's Birmingham Squadron earlier in the week, Daniels suited up for the Pelicans for the first time since Feb. 9 after undergoing a meniscectomy on his left knee. The 2022 first-round pick stepped back into a rotational role Saturday, but his 11 minutes were still well below his season-long average of 21.7 per game. Once he's further removed from the knee injury, Daniels could see his playing time pick up a bit, especially while the Pelicans look to fill the minutes vacated by Brandon Ingram (knee), who could be about a week away from returning to action.
