Efficient outing to take home gold

The Scoop:After posting a team-high 13 points on 5-for-7 from the field at the half, Booker was quiet while shooting 1-for-3 in the second half. However, Team USA took home gold, and Booker's three-point shooting was a major reason why. The 27-year-old averaged 11.7 points, 3.3 assists and 2.7 rebounds across 22.0 minutes per game in six Olympic appearances. Booker also shot an impressive 56.5 percent from deep, and he was a consistent bucket for Team USA.

Leads USA in Olympic win

The Scoop: Booker managed to provide a game-high 18 points as a member of the starting five, despite playing only 15 minutes in the contest. The All-Star was hot from beyond the arc, and his ability to shoot from three-point range has made him one of Team USA's top options in these Olympic games. Booker shot 5-for-9 from deep during the group stage, during which he averaged 10.3 points, 4.3 assists and 2.3 rebounds across 21.7 minutes in three group-phase matches.

The Scoop: Booker has now started in two consecutive exhibition games for Team USA; however, he shot only 3-for-11 from the field across that span. The 27-year-old has been in-and-out of the starting lineup due to Kevin Durant's (calf) absence, but if he returns in time for the Paris Olympics Booker could very well be pushed out of the starting five. Booker did have a solid outing against Australia on July 15 coming off the bench, but since then he has accumulated only 11 points in the past three games.

Drops 49 points in defeat
Booker accumulated 49 points (13-21 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 20-21 FT), five rebounds, six assists, one block and two steals in 45 minutes during Sunday's 122-116 loss to Minnesota in Game 4 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.

The Scoop: Minnesota swept the Suns on Sunday, but Booker did everything he could to keep Phoenix in contention during a back-and-forth matchup, logging his fourth-highest scoring total of the season while contributing on both ends of the court. Booker remained dominant during his age-27 season, averaging 27.1 points, 6.9 assists and 4.5 rebounds in 36.0 minutes per game. Booker should continue to play a prominent role for Phoenix during the 2024-25 season, his 10th year with the team.

Delivers eight dimes in Game 3 loss
Booker accumulated 23 points (8-15 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 6-6 FT), three rebounds, eight assists and two steals in 42 minutes during Friday's 126-109 loss to the Timberwolves in Game 3 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.

The Scoop: Booker finished just two assists away from recording a double-double in Game 3, and the star guard will need to be at his best Sunday if the Suns want to avoid getting swept in the first round. Booker's scoring numbers have increased with each passing game in the series, though this was the first time he surpassed the 20-point plateau.
