Bazemore signed a one-year contract with the Kings on Sunday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports. The Scoop:Bazemore spent the 2021-22 season with the Lakers and averaged just 3.4 points, 1.8 rebounds and 0.9 assists in 14.0 minutes per game. He'll attempt to bounce back on his one-year deal with Sacramento. Aug 8 12:25 ET - | ||||||||
Kent Bazemore: Scores season-high 13 points Bazemore posted 13 points (4-7 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds and one assist in 14 minutes during Friday's 117-114 loss to the Hornets. The Scoop: With LeBron James (knee), Anthony Davis (wrist) and Malik Monk (groin) sidelined, Bazemore saw an increased role and scored a season-high 13 points in just 14 minutes of action. While the scoring outburst is a positive sign, that type of production is likely unsustainable. Even with all the injuries, Bazemore still was the ninth man in coach Frank Vogel's rotation. Kent Bazemore: Makes rare appearance Tuesday Bazemore contributed zero points (0-1 FG) in two minutes during Tuesday's 106-96 win over the Nets. The Scoop: Bazemore saw the court for just the third time this calendar year, highlighting his role, or lack thereof, on the Lakers right now. After starting the season as a regular part of the rotation, things have trended in the wrong direction over the past month. Obviously, the veteran is not a name worth discussing in any fantasy league at this point. Jan 26 3:51 ET |
Kent Bazemore: Clears injury designation Friday Bazemore (COVID-19 protocols) is not listed on the injury report ahead of Friday's contest against the Trail Blazers. The Scoop: As expected, Bazemore will rejoin the team after a six-game absence. However, his role has been minimal since mid-November, averaging just 3.0 points and 1.9 rebounds over his past eight appearances. Dec 31 9:58 ET |
Kent Bazemore: Expected to be available Friday Bazemore (COVID-19 protocols) is out Wednesday against the Grizzlies but is expected to be available Friday against the Trail Blazers, Kyle Goon of The Orange County Register reports. The Scoop: Bazemore will miss a sixth straight game Wednesday but appears set to re-join the rotation Friday. That said, his role has been minimal since mid-November. Over his past eight appearances, he's averaged 3.0 points and 1.9 rebounds in 9.4 minutes. Dec 29 6:30 ET |
