With Gordon Hayward (calf) out indefinitely, Martin has started six straight games, so his absence would be a big blow to an already shorthanded Hornets squad. Nick Smith, Ish Smith, Bryce McGowens and Leaky Black would be candidates for increased playing time if Martin is ruled out.
