Dwayne Bacon: Agrees to deal with Knicks Bacon and the Knicks agreed to terms on a contract Monday, Tim Bontemps of ESPN reports.
The Scoop: Bacon spent last season in Orlando, where he appeared in all 72 games and averaged 10.9 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 25.7 minutes per contest -- all career highs. The Florida State product will now head to a much deeper and more talented Knicks roster, so it's likely that he'll fill a reduced role off the bench. The four-year veteran will compete with Alec Burks, Evan Fournier, Kevin Knox and rookie Quentin Grimes for minutes. Aug 9 11:48 ET |
