Game ETLatest Player News...
Durant supplied 33 points (12-17 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 7-9 FT), nine rebounds, five assists and four blocks over 46 minutes during Sunday's 122-116 loss to the Timberwolves in Game 4 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.

The Scoop:With the Suns dropping Game 4, they were swept by the Timberwolves and will fall short of their hefty expectations. According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, Durant had "persistent issues" with the offense and felt as if he was relegated to the corner too often. It will be an interesting offseason for Phoenix, to put it mildly. Durant finished the regular season with averages of 27.1 points, 6.6 rebounds, 5.0 assists, 1.2 blocks, 0.9 steals and 2.2 three-pointers.

Puts up 25 points in loss Friday
Durant had 25 points (8-18 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 8-9 FT), four rebounds and five assists across 42 minutes during Friday's 126-109 loss to Minnesota in Game 3 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.

The Scoop: Durant bounced back from a subpar showing, at least by his lofty standards, in Game 2, and he had a strong showing in Game 3, but once again, his contributions were not enough to lift the Suns to victory as Phoenix fell into an 0-3 series deficit. Durant will need to be at his best if the Suns want to avoid the sweep in Game 4 on Sunday. He's averaging 24.7 points, 5.7 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game in the series.

Leads offense in playoff loss
Durant ended with 31 points (11-17 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 7-9 FT), seven rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal across 39 minutes during Saturday's 120-95 loss to Minnesota in Game 1 of the Western Conference Quarterfinals.

The Scoop: Durant led all Suns players in scoring and free throws made while hauling in a team-best rebound total and connecting on a pair of threes to pace Phoenix offensively. Durant posted his first 30-point outing since April 3, but it wasn't enough, as Devin Booker's struggles sank the Suns.

Posts team-high 28 points
Durant chipped in 28 points (11-20 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 3-3 FT), five rebounds and three assists across 42 minutes during Friday's 108-107 victory over the Kings.

The Scoop: Although Durant didn't play a huge part in the fourth -quarter rally that brought Phoenix back into contention, he kept the team relevant with 18 of his 28 points during a disappointing first half for the rest of the team. The Suns will lean on Durant and Devin Booker in the final regular-season game against Minnesota, as a win will vault them into the last guaranteed playoff spot.

Scores team-high 21 points
Durant ended with 21 points (8-22 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 3-5 FT), two rebounds, two assists and two steals across 40 minutes during Tuesday's 105-92 loss to the Clippers.

The Scoop: When the Suns' high scorer manages only 21 points, it's usually a bad sign. While Durant's night wasn't as bad as Devin Booker's awful result, the former also experienced some trouble finding the bottom of the basket. He shot 36.3 percent from the floor, mimicking his result from the loss to the Pelicans on Wednesday.
